“Health Qigong is a form of internal healing art. In general, Health Qigong is easier to learn than its sibling of Tai Chi Chuan due to its relatively simple moves without complicated maneuverings. Nevertheless, Health Qigong is much harder to teach because the instructor needs to understand the principles and theories behind and how it actually works and then explain the rather abstract concept to students. They need to teach what students should do internally during the practice and better yet what they would feel. Kevin has done a good job laying the foundation of what Health Qigong is, how it works, and what a practitioner should do while learning the form.
“With his own pursuit of learning the healing art, Kevin has done research in the field of Health Qigong and gone above and beyond Master Jiao’s original text. His book is valuable not only for people who want to study Master Jiao’s Five Animal Frolics but also anyone who studies Health Qigong. “
